Steve devoted his professional life to giving us (you, me and a billion other people) the most powerful device ever available to an ordinary person. Everything in our world is different because of the device you’re reading this on.

What are we going to do with it?

I grew up using Apple products from a very young age. My grandpa got me started on an Apple IIe. Our good friends had a NeXT computer that felt like it was 20 years in the future (and it was - it is still the basis for OSX). I used it every chance I could. We had Power PC’s during the clone days when i wrote my first database. There were iMacs, and others. I had a break in college because our University gave us Thinkpad’s but since then I’ve had two more Mac’s including my current Air. We currently have 3 Macs, 4 iPods, 2 iPhones, 1 iPad, and a Mac router in our house.

Steve Jobs left a legacy that only a few people have ever come close to in the business world (Henry Ford comes to mind). It is so sad his life came to a close at such a young age, but it’s clear as day he made every second count. True inspiration for everyone as we make our own futures.
